We connect science and society through collaborations with universities, public and private companies, educational and scientific institutions, NGOs… In this space, research and education come together to address key issues such as marine pollution and biodiversity.

We also have our own research project by means of sampling (CTD Rosette) upon request. The Gara Itsasoa is equipped with dry and wet laboratories for detailed sample analysis. The routes are defined according to the requirements of each campaign and the researchers can work with great comfort and stability thanks to the characteristics offered by the catamaran.
